TUFaT - Create your family tree online!

TUFaT - Create your family tree online!

In this website you can find the easiet way of creating a GENOLOGY tree based on a free software, that the author has made it for sale since he upgraded some stuff and enhanced the speed of the free one.

I am willing, if time permits, to learn and enjoy developing my own code. However, $5 seduce me to just buy it and let the dogs out! i got plenty of things to do instead of re-inventing the wheel! :)

wish me luck.. and quick recovery noawads..am feeling still sick.

PCWorld.com - Greetings From the Most Connected Place on Earth

PCWorld.com - Greetings From the Most Connected Place on Earth

Digital line for internet connection!

Who does not want to use a fast lane to browse the net, download programs and moview, play games, exchange files, host a personal website, or even make a personal server! Rocking the world with PC Bang in Korea is one of the most breakthroughs in 21st century.

Korea's $11 Billion governomental project to build infrastructures for high speed networks connecting all korean houses was a dream that came true. The prices for supplying this service is so cheap, even when compared with the United State.

I just wonder, when will the broadband connection be considered to be implemented in Saudi Arabia? while the guys in Korea are thinking of giving Wireless Connection to everybody at the moment!!

BinaEditor for Mambo - Mamboportal.com - A Mambo Open Source CMS Fansite

BinaEditor for Mambo - Mamboportal.com - A Mambo Open Source CMS Fansite

As a web-developer, I've made my own portal Built-up from scratch. The quest of approaching a perfect solution is endless. The portal features web-editor that enables editing the pages without the need for either FTP nor HTML Editor programs for updating the website. With the existing of many web browsers, having a component that works with them all is not easy at all.

The editor I made is working using JavaScript in a limited way in addition to some DOC object properties (that don't work with browsers other than IE). Using IFRAME to replace a text area is easy task but the IFRAME does not work with all browsers properly, and can't start it in RIGHT-TO-LEFT without a hack!

It's challenging to find an easy solution as well as to accepting a new editor while i have created my own from scratch! My Editor has the ability to upload a picture or files while the others dont, but am looking into this problem and hopefully i will be able to decide what to do in these coming few days.

Your contribution is most welcome.

Schneier on Security

Schneier on Security

Today, reading computer news on PC MAG, found an interesting subject that was my concern for a while: ENCRYPTION. Some people don't know what is Encryption ought to mean in real life nor in computers.

In english, when you see a friend you will go (hey wassup)! The "wassup" is originally (what's up). In our daily life, we communication using encryption without knowing that we do. The slan language used among people can be considered encryption - that almost everybody knows how to decrypt and understand what has been said. In brief, encryption is converting some talk that everybody understand to some code that not everybody can understand.

Of course there are plenty of ways to encrypt the words before sending them to the other end who knows how to decrypt. SHA-1 is one of those methods, and it is widely used in computer world:

The standard, known as SHA-1, "is used in pretty much every cryptographic protocol out there," says encryption expert Bruce Schneier. "[SHA-1 is] used in SSH, in SSL, in S/MIME, in PGP. It's used in IPSec. VPNs use it. Everybody uses it."

The SHA-1 encryption has been broken! That means it is not secure anymore to buy using your credit card, send secure mail messages, or give VPN access to your local secure network over the internet.

"This is a critical break in SHA that is just at the edge of feasibility," Schneier says. But even though SHA-1 has been broken by academics, that doesn't mean the government or criminals will be able to spy on your encrypted communications immediately.

Knowing this announcement from an academic institute is a reliefe but the question is: Has any hacker crack the SHA-1 encryption and did not annouce he did yet?

Oo Righ (alright) - Language!

among all that one must be keen in is: Slang!

cuz i may read either as EYE_THER and u read it as EE_THER while the word meaning does not change ! (HOW HELPFUL?:p) the ability of knowing how to speak with other is one of most important skills in Social Engineering - especially when marketing for a product.

There is one more than marketing field, where language is important, can u think and guess what are they? (want choices? let's say: debate, videogames, fighting, speach, listening, none)

This among the Arabic websites shows a limitations found in the search engines, especially the google search engine. The SearchBot does not understand the window-1252 charset but still shows the site with question marks in the title of the page section.

Started blogging

Starting to explore the area of blog (BlogSpot) trying to find out how easy is it to blog. This approach is not against utilizing my skills in computers or coding such a personal website, no, it is to test how far do i need to improve my skills.

I found that inserting pictures is not included thru (upload):

Blogger does not directly provide image hosting, although you are welcome to
include any images in your blog if you have them stored online elsewhere.

So this problem must be solved. The ( Hello ) program looks complicated and i'll be busy understanding how does it work, so later.
